I am just starting to plan my wedding and have not even decided what colors.
Are there any good bridal magazines that you can recommend that would give
me good pictures and Ideas for colors for brides maid dresses, mothers
dresses and grooms tuxes.

Just go to your local dep't store (maybe Walmart or Zellers since they offer
discounts on book/magazine prices) and flip through the bridal mags. You
will find they are predominantly ads for dishes, dresses, and honeymoon
venues. However the ads give you a great idea of the style/colors of dress
you could go for. I found the big thick BRIDES magazine to be very useful
for pictures, but whatever catches your eye is fine. You can also try going
to the local library and flipping through the magazines there, and if you're
super organized, sign out the ones that have pictures of dresses you like,
and take them to your local wedding dress store.
Also you can check out wedding dress pictures online (I know www.theknot.com
has a good selection of pictures both for brides and wedding party members),
and print/save the ones you like.

oh you're at the fun part where you're just starting to think about about

I personally liked www.weddingchannel.com for their articles. Also use
their newsgroup/bulletin board archive search on your own local geographic
area to determine any bridal salons to stay away from -- brides who have
been poorly treated by their bridal salon tend to eventually post somewhere.
For photos of dresses, try www.davidsbridal.com and J.C.Penny's on-line

Personally? Can't recommend *any* of them--only real pleasure I got from
looking at them was flipping through the ring ads and saying, "Mine's
prettier", and blessing my buttons that my mother is sewing my dress for me.
I have yet to find anything in a printed magazine that wasn't also available
free on the web-including the ads.

Good advice. I went to barnes and noble and grabbed a few and looked thru
them. Got some ideas and didn't have to buy the magazine. They tend to start
stacking up if you keep buying them. I just thru away a stack
